Girls' sets are a practical choice that keeps the morning rush to a minimum, with tops and bottoms designed to match each other. In Oh La La Koala's girls' set collection, you'll find everything from top-and-bottom sets to tracksuits and pyjama sets, all made with skin-friendly fabrics.
For example, the Pastel Soft Touch Top & Bottom Set, made from pastel soft-touch fabric, and the linen-textured Mare Linen Shirt & Shorts Set for warmer days are just two of the standout pieces in the collection below.

What Styles Are Available in Girls' Sets?

We group the collection into a few main categories based on what you need:
Top-and-bottom sets: practical two-piece sets for everyday wear, with the top and bottom selectable separately
Tracksuit sets: stretchy pieces that allow freedom of movement for the park, nursery or play days
Pyjama sets: soft-textured loungewear and sleepwear combinations that won't irritate the skin overnight
Seasonal sets: season-appropriate options ranging from lightweight summer fabrics to layered sets rounded out with winter outerwear
Each group is made in a range of ages and heights; so in the next section we briefly explain how to choose the right size.

How Do You Choose the Right Size?

In children's clothing, sizing tends to be more accurate when it's based on height rather than age. The EN 13402 sizing standard used for children's clothing in Europe and Turkey defines sizes by height in centimetres and generally allows a tolerance of about ±2 cm. In other words, the most reliable method is to measure your child's current height and match it to the range in the size chart; choosing by age alone can be misleading for fast-growing children.

Why Do Fabric and Safety Matter?

When choosing a girls' set, the safety of the details on the garment matters just as much as how the fabric feels against the skin. Because children's skin is thinner and more permeable than adult skin, breathable fabrics with low chemical residue are generally the more comfortable choice.
At this point you may come across two different certifications, and they don't measure the same thing:
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 looks at whether the fabric and its accessories (buttons, zips, prints, etc.) have been tested for more than 1,000 harmful substances. Product Class 1, which covers the 0–3 age group, is subject to the strictest testing criteria.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), on the other hand, focuses on the origin of the fibres: for the "Organic" label at least 95% of the fabric must be organic fibre, and for the "Made with Organic" label at least 70%. GOTS also covers chemical use in the production process along with social and environmental criteria.
In short, OEKO-TEX answers the question "is this fabric safe?", while GOTS answers "is this fabric genuinely organic?".
Details such as hood cords and waist drawstrings on sets are also elements that need to be assessed separately from a safety standpoint. The EN 14682:2014 standard aims to ensure that cords and drawstrings on children's clothing up to age 14 don't create a strangulation or entrapment risk, and it sets out different rules for the neck and waist areas. When we choose details like these for the sets we design at Oh La La Koala, we put the child's safety first.
Choosing a Girls' Set by Season
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has a simple rule for cold weather: dress children in one more layer than an adult would wear, using thin layers. Several thin layers instead of a single thick piece give you more flexible temperature control and don't restrict the child's movement. Part of this guidance is also avoiding thick coats or snowsuits while the child is seated in a car seat.
If you'd like to simplify the logic of layering, take a look at the three-layer system often used in children's clothing: a base layer that wicks sweat away from the skin, a mid layer such as a sweatshirt or jumper that retains heat, and an outer layer that protects against wind and rain when needed. Keeping this logic in mind as you choose your sets makes seasonal transitions easier.

Girls' Sets at Oh La La Koala

When selecting every girls' set in our collection, we prioritise skin-friendly fabric, all-day comfort and safe detailing. Elastic waistbands and relaxed cuts are designed to keep your child comfortable all day long without restricting freedom of movement during play.
You can browse a few of our standout styles below: the Pastel Soft Touch Top & Bottom Set, the Powder Pink Cookie Embroidered Flowy Top & Bottom Set, and the Sun Print T-shirt & Muslin Trousers Set.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I look at first when choosing a girls' set?
We recommend first measuring your child's current height and comparing it with the size chart, then checking whether the parts of the fabric that touch the skin have a soft, breathable texture.
Can a product have both an OEKO-TEX and a GOTS label?
Yes. A product can both have passed the OEKO-TEX test showing its fabric contains no harmful substances and meet the organic fibre percentage GOTS requires; the two look at different criteria that complement each other.
Are the cords and drawstrings on the sets safe?
